Paulio
I am watching this listing too. Tony any chance you could weigh in on the condition of this lens? Thanks
Photograjph
Also watching this listing, been stalking eBay and this forum for a while looking for quality Isco 36 glass - I see these auctions come up and feel a bit like a seagull, looking for a stray chip and hoping no-one else has seen it! Chips aren't getting any cheaper either! Adding myself to the "Wanted to buy..." crowd, and so the stalking continues
richg101
My 'rama 36 may be available. I'm being tempted by a 5dmk3, and need to raise some funds. a little separation, but hasnt got worse in the year I have used it for, and it is at the top and bottom of the lens optics so isnt directly in the light path, and certainly doesnt impart any visible issues. It's a single coated version (bronze/warm) not multi coated blue/purple. close focus mod for 3.5ft, silky smooth focus ring. I'm not gonna be selling on ebay just because it is too open for scamster buyers. It's a lovely example and I have been quoted £200 for a reglue of the separated optics here in the uk. so factor that in if you are thinking of buying to repair - though I seriously dont think its worth it. search my vids on vimeo for examples of some of the half hearted stuff I have used it for.:) http://vimeo.com/49847311 http://vimeo.com/57724126 http://vimeo.com/56135073 http://vimeo.com/55452126 http://vimeo.com/55033071 http://vimeo.com/55029919 http://vimeo.com/50363360 http://vimeo.com/50175295 Photograjph
Photograjph
I'm keen to know more, do you have some pics of the unit and the separation I could see? Happy to discuss here or PM (and despite my low post count, long time Isco stalker on this forum, 100% feedback on eBay with lots of purchase history - genuine buyer for the right unit)

Rcorrell
What is the process to modify the lens for close up use? Did you buy it that way, or pay to have it modded? i know it has to do with removing the outer thread at least somewhat or completely, and i have been hearing about this "mod recently and was curious if its married to lens originally as purchased or if this can be a sort of aftermarket mod that can be added. Bioskop.Inc
There's a post already explaining this in this section of the forum - do a search.
