That was one of the big features of the G9 (identical to the Olympus E-M1mkII btw):

I stopped being interested after reading about the 15 minutes of recording time.

To bad, that means you missed it being debunked.

By the looks of the interest in this thread, other forums, in the camera store today and some very defensive fanboys, it looks like it will be popular.

The Movie Maximum Record Time does say 29 minutes 59 seconds, but further down in the specs under "Power" it states...

Battery Life: (shots per charge) 310  shots (CIPA), Movies:  Approx. 10-15 min of movie recording

Does it have the 4GB limit on individual clips as well? Other Nikon products have 30 minutes or 4GB, whichever comes first.

Manual focus.

It will want to be spectacular for its price (assuming it will be very dear indeed).       I do think it could end up a cult classic like the original 58 1.2 Noct.

Sony users can at least use  manual focus 50 f0.95 if they want at a lot lower price even if not as good.

I wish Nikon would allow others access to the mount.

Where did people get that 15 minutes video, we should  compare to the D850, which has about same sensor (minus on sensor pdaf ) and I guess about same lcd which is on when recording video.

It is written on the Nikon USA Website,

Battery Life (shots per charge) 310  shots (CIPA)
Movies:  Approx. 10-15 min of movie recording

https://www.nikonusa.com/en/nikon-products/product/mirrorless-cameras/z-6.html#tab-ProductDetail-ProductTabs-TechSpecs

but on the Japanese website it says 85 min.  I trust more the Japanese site
