Best choice for GH2 and 550D: Which lens?

Hi there,

 

I'm currently only filming with my GH2, but i would like to film my interviews with two camera's. The second camera will be my Canon 550D. Now i'm looking for a lens which gives me a nice DoF and is suitable for my GH2 and my 550D. My budget for this lens is around $150.

 

Is the Canon FD f/1.4 50mm the lens an option? Which adapter do i need to make it fit with my GH2 and my 55D?

 

My knowledge on this area is quite limited, so some questions might be foolish :)

adaptors are all avaialable on ebay

a good lens for both cameras is Carl Zeiss Flektogon 35mm f2.4

it is a good focal length for the 550 x 1.6 apsc crop and GH2 x1.86 crop

Thanks for your response. But the Carl Zeiss is too expensive. Any other suggestions?

Carl Zeiss 28mm F2.8 is cheaper try that in m42 mount

then get 2 m42  screw mount adaptors one for canon mount one for micro 4/3 mount

Zeiss Flektogon 2.8/35mm is a great choice and focusses down to .18m
