Nice to see the high-res megapixel mode included. This wasn't announced initially but it was part of a few leaked specs not too long ago.

One of the other leaked specs that has yet to be confirmed is an internal variable ND. What are the chances of that? Would automatically make these cameras top dogs for mirrorless video (which they may be regardless).

What does everyone expect in terms of dynamic range for video?

Does anyone have any experience with the L mount? What are the pros and cons?

For me, bodies come second and lenses come first. Most cameras are amazing these days (except Canon) but the rest of the ecosystem is what interests me more.

I want a few (or a couple) cheap and small pancakes with one of those definitely a fish eye, a fast pro workhorse (24mm - XXmm), an UWZ, a small-ish prime for portraits, a tele (or two) and a cheap-ish all arounder zoom (18-135/18-105/18-200/something), all in all 6 to 8 lenses.

Also, I would like a couple of different form factors for the bodies, a very good pro one, and a prosumer smaller one.

I have two T/L mount bodies and zero L mount lenses so obviously the biggest con (and some would say in both senses of the words) is the price of the lenses.

Not that that means that I have a shortage of lenses to mount on them as via cheap M and R adapters as intermediaries there aren't too many restrictions.

So even if Panasonic and Sigma don't come up with the expected goods in terms of hugely cheaper native lenses, you still won't be struggling for something to film through albeit manually, which won't faze many people on here anyway.

And if the EVF on it is as good as the one on the SL then no one will be crying into their beer about it.

After spending far too many hours in their casinos as a younger man, I can attest that not providing a specific hour for the announcement other than "Las Vegas time" is entirely appropriate and could mean any time in the next few days

They said 7th of Jan. one day before the CES show.  So they (panny guys) better start trying to find the casino exit ASAP.  But your right, could take days, even with a search and rescue team.
