buggz
Wow, my 570 playtime thus far, shows this rig runs HOT! Do all external monitors run hot?

IronFilm
Usually it is the recorder/monitor combos which get super hot
buggz
Err, cooking. Anywho, thanks, eagerly awaiting the Atomos Ninja V. This was cheap anywho, it will hold me over 'till then. I will get some good practice time in also.
Dan Sherman
so they released the F5 today per their Facebook page. From what i can tell, it's just an F550 with DC out and a tilt arm like the F6, so not very impressive.
Dan Sherman
The F5 product page is finally up, and while i see what looks to be a few little improvements I'm still not overly impressed, as nothing has really moved the ball forward. http://www.feelworld.cn/ShowInfo.aspx?id=597&py=FEELWORLD-F5-5-Inch-DSLR-Camera-Field-Monitor-IPS-Full-HD-1920x1080-Support-4K-HDMI-Input-Output-Tilt-Arm-Power-Output Improvements: no limitations around the various zooming features when working with 4k input audio meters integrated battery plate integrated sunshade mount
Kisaha
How much is the 1000nits OLED one?
Dan Sherman
Just now, Kisaha said: How much is the 1000nits OLED one? I specifically asked, and they won't give any details on anything that hasn't been released yet. I personally want to know what model supports luts and how much it will cost, as I don't see any benefit to the Atomos line of recorders. Dan Sherman
Man, Feelworld really needs to get their marketing together. The just posted some photos from their IBC booth. The F567 is really the FW567, and while it is OLED its only 1280x720, and it's 300 nits, not the 1000 like in the teaser video. Unless someone it trying to play the average brightness vs single pixel peak brightness game. The FW279 is really the FW279s, but it's at-least 2200 nits like the video claimed. Still no mention of what video has lut support yet!
Kisaha
Someone has to eat his hat, claiming 1000nits OLED for 300$.

I think not, because they haven't actually delivered a 1000 nit monitor at any price.
Dan Sherman
I did some snooping (web software developer by day) around the feelworld website during lunch, and found the unpublished product page for the FW279S. It looks to still be a work in progress, as introduction says 450 nits while several other spots on the page say 2200. http://www.feelworld.cn/ShowInfo.aspx?id=598 I also found this company in the Netherlands (i think) that shows it for 499 Euros. https://shop.disnet.nl/5966-Feelworld-Field-Monitoren/153621-Feelworld-7-4K-FW279S-Ultra-Bright-SDI-Monitor.html
JDW
The FW279S is listed on Amazon Japan now, advertising 2200 nits at a ¥45,300 price point. https://www.amazon.co.jp/FEELWORLD-1920X1200-IPSカメラモニター-2200nit-外部撮影用モニター/dp/B07HH1ZKKK

Yeah but it is missing the 3 big things you need to have, Waveform, RGB parade, Vectorscope. IronFilm
