I've never found peaking useful, but maybe the cameras I've used all had it poorly implemented.

very usefull when shooting handheld and you don't rely on the af. but compared to the 5d mkII with magic lantern the fuji peaking is useless :(

at moments areas that are in focus aren't visible because the dots are far too small and fade into the material wtf

I never have owned a A6000 series camera, but i would imagine the A6300 was close to the same as a a7s? I have never worn glasses so maybe that helps me, I don't know. But I had my original A7, A7r and never ever owned a native lens for them. Always used old MF FF lenses. But it was mostly for Photos, so on average I had the time to tweak it.

still learning to use my camera.

one thing i find anoying is the fact that when using af if you touch the manual focus ring it goes to manual focus. don't know how to go back to af except turning off and on the camera again or switching the front focus selection button

Hmm that doesn't happen for me. The manual focus ring simply doesn't do anything when AF-c or AF-S is on

Can anyone let me know if it’s possible to input a LUT in camera for F-log monitoring without needing an external recorder? For example, can I record F-log internally to the SD while simultaneously displaying the Eterna LUT on the back screen? Thanks!

You can't put any LUT into the camera, but there's a feature called "Natural Liveview" that works as a view assist, it displays a BT.709 image on screen but records F-log.

Does this camera do off speed playback? And if so, does it play it out the HDMI?

I forgot to check this while I had it at home. I wonder if you can do what I used to do while I had the fs5, where I would record a super slow motion, play it back at 24 fps and record the playback to the shogun, to get prores on the spot.

No it's just a neutral BT.709 look with "natural live view" feature, with 2.0 firmware the camera can send Eterna look via HDMI and record F-log internally (or the other way), but there's a bug at the moment that applies a 1.18x crop on all 4K frame rates.

Yes, only in FHD high speed recording mode. But the HDMI output resolution is fixed at 4K30p, regardless of what frame rate you set in camera. Also the playback mode displays some UI element but disappear as soon as playback starts, it'll need to be manually edited out.
