Cinema 24p or HBR?

EOSHD Guide states to shoot at Cinema 24p, if I shoot at Cinema 24p with Aquamotion v2 Hack am I still getting the 88m/s?

PV's FAQ page states to shoot at HBR.

Which method makes use of the hack the most?

I'm looking for the answer too...I'm using orion v4, and choosing 24h under the 24p cinema mode...my files are 40mb for ten second files, and I was expecting 200-300mb for the files.

If you download 5DtoRGB, it'll tell you what the bitrate is; that should help. Although, I have the 88mb hack, and it's telling me the bitrate is 57mb. Guessing that's cause it's variable?

You've got it, Joshua. Variable bitrate hacks do not always record at the highest rate. It depends on the complexity and brightness of the subject, i.e. a forest background will record at a higher bitrate generally than a solid background.

Is Orion variable or constant? Can't remember offhand. But do not look at total file size to see recording bitrates, you need a secondary tool such as 5DtoRGB or MediaInfo. Or whichever one is suggested on the Personal View site.
