Best Tripod for GH5 for under 1000 euros?

Looking to buy a video tripod for a GH5 for under 1000 euros. Any recommendations?

Thinking of Sachtler Ace GS but maybe there is a good manfrotto option?

Any lovely members out there with recommendations? Want a good sturdy tripod, does not have to be travel light.

Hi there, have you considered the Miller Air? 

I'd recommend anything Miller over Manfroto tbh!

Cartoni also make some really lovely fluid heads; I've used the Focus hd which is heavy but so smooth!

I have a Miller Air Solo 75 - super tripod and fluid head. I use a Kessler quick release base plate to Arca Swiss.

It is between Ace and Air as people mentioned above. A basic Ace is alright for a rigged GH5, and is much less than 1000.

The Ace is wonderful for the price ... as long as weight and fulcrum point are not excessive.

I moved to a Sachtler 8 but found the Ace very good for smooth pans and movements. Plenty

of adjustments to prevent backlash.

I have two of them but I would Not recommend Anything Manfrotto anymore. Their overall quality has gone way down hill. I like Vinten stuff better than any. And what is Really crazy Vinten owns them now. I guess it is their cheap ass line I don't know. Manfrotto just tends to cheapen it by 20 percent and it ends up frustrating as hell. They have the right ideas, they just half ass everything as of late. Piss poor engineering, and half ass quality control. They used to be built like a tank, quality stuff.
