Certain older EF lenses will work in 1080 mode and you can still take advantage of a wider speedboosted image circle. In Stabilized mode and using a 2.4: crop, you can almost crop out the vignetting. Some of the shots here are are cropped to avoid the vignetting and some aren't. The Speedbooster works great in 4K reducing the R's crop to 1.24 with no vignetting. This Canon EF 85mm f 1.8 becomes a 60mm f1.2 in this 1080 semi-hack mode with full electronic control (AF, aperture, etc.). More modern EF lenses don't work this way.
