markodarko
Hi All, I recently bought the EOSHD C-Log profile for my Canon M50 and it works as advertised. Great stuff! ? However... I thought the ZIP file would include a C-Log > Rec. 709 LUT or equivalent but I only found 3 in the ZIP file which were marked Cinema Profiles 1-3 but when I use these in Premiere Pro they don't seem to give the required result. May I ask - what is the best method for translating the EOSHD C-Log into the Rec. 709 colourspace within Premiere Pro? I've tried doing it manually with curves and whatnot but my skin-tones look a little "off" even though the white-balance is correct (and verified on the vectorscope). Any help would be appreciated here. Thanks for your time, Mark.
Administrators Andrew Reid Posted January 15, 2019 Administrators Share Posted January 15, 2019 Google search for C-LOG LUTs. It works with any Canon C-LOG to Rec 709 LUT. Even the Rec 709 option built into most NLEs will do the job.
