Strange noise in G80 HDMI Output to SWIT CM-55C

I have an issue with the HDMI output on the G80.

I just bought the SWIT CM-55C monitor. I'm using it with the supplied HDMI Cable and a HDMI to Micro HDMI v1.4 adapter.

The issue is that while having my camera in 4k/25p, it sends out a 2160p25FPS signal which has strange noise or clipping in the absolute blacks. When I switch to 1080p/25FPS recording, the camera sends out 1080p/25FPS signal and that noise/clipping is gone. It's different from in-camera noise, it looks like peaking almost.

I tried resetting the monitor settings to factory and changing the calibration. Unfortunately I can't test it with other cable

It seems like that adapter is so bad, it can't handle the 2160p25FPS signal.. Can you think of any other options before I spent $25 on a quality short HDMI to Micro HDMI Cable?
