4:3 aspect ratio in 2.8K is to be used with anamorphic lenses, whereas the 2.4:1 ratio in 4K is meant for spherical lenses. 

 before i rolled the p4k back to 6.1 i tried one of those modes, not sure which now with a normal lens and it didn't look weird,  must of got lucky.🙄

thanks for the informed update once i have a play around with 6.1 and dng's for an upcoming project after that i'll try the anamorphic modes in the later version
