premini
Another question, what is the diameter of the Isco part that would need support, i saw some nice mounts from Lanparte such this one and wondering if the would do the job.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Laparte-III-Prime-Tele-lens-support-V2-TS-02-For-15MM-Rod-Rail-System-BMCC-C300-/261213114420?pt=US_Lens_Adapters_Mounts_Tubes&hash=item3cd183d034
Anthony Vallejo-Sanderson
I just use a simple lens mount to support the weight of the lens after I screw on a few rings and step down rings onto the taking lens. It's a real hassle when it comes to changing the taking lens but, otherwise I love my 54. I've had my eye on that casino mount, seems like a more solid support. Cineman1
I still dont have the adapter so i dont know what its diameter is. Will this one.do the job? http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/750371-REG/Cavision_R15_LS25100M_Lens_Support_with_Metal.html The Cavision mount will work if you have the custom Redstan screw-on mounting ring instead of the stock ring that comes with the 54. The Redstan ring has a slightly wider outer diameter and fits nicely if built up with a thin later of cardboard. I use the sheet that comes in my packets of Epson printer paper...cut thin and lining the ring. When tightened properly the 54 won't budge. So check with Alan at Redstan. I believe he may have one in stock.
premini
I finally bought a Lanparte support and does the job on my isco. This one:http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JWV426Q/ref=sr_ph?ie=UTF8&qid=1420124099&sr=1&keywords=lanparte+lens+supportI put 2 adapter rings in the rear en of the ISCO one 77-72 and another 72-77, additionally i am using it with a 52mm front lens so i added a third 52-77 ring. I am attaching some pics...
