Update to 1.1 official first, just to be safe. That is what I did. I think you can go straight from out of the box to hacked but until I try it myself, that is my advice.

Has the Anamorphic side (MJPEG) been removed on the GF2HBR patch?  I tried to shoot some vids and hasn't seen the ratio change.  Is it the WVGA or VGA?

Just wanting to know.

That is on the VGA 4:3 MJPEG mode.

Hey guys, I have hacked my GH2 with the Vanilla patch but I can't find the 25p setting, am I doing it something wrong? Its definetely updated it, I have now 12800 ISO and I see some new menu stuff (I was still on the old stock firmware)

Can someone help me out? :)

Select PAL in the menu (Video Out) and then choose HBR mode instead of Cinema 24p.

Then hope your editing software recognise it as 25p not interlaced.

I use Final cut pro X, does it recognize it as 25p?

I have Ptool 3.64 and Vanilla patch installed, but how can I go back to the original firmware 1.1 ?

Just untick all the boxes in PTools OR download the original firmware file and update to that one from SD card.

Hi.

Thanks for the patch for the GH2.

Shot a few things with it (Vanilla) yesterday at a concert.
720p in EX Tele mode does not work properly when there is too much movement.
This with SanDisk Extreme Class 10 30MB/s...

Any ideas what to change to make it work?

Thanks, I've registered and downloaded. There are 11 driftwood, which ones do you recommend?

I tried the last one but when playback I had to switch the camera off and on in order to see the playback.
Does it improves on 25fps HBR mode?

it's not driftwood but the image quality is great, it has direct in-cam playback !
I used it on studio shooting, it worked fine.

is anyone having trouble with vanilla patch HBR/25p mode? i'm getting write error lock ups seconds after starting. cinema mode works fine. sandisk SDXC class 10 card should be fine.

Ok, I am really new at all this, so please bare with me. I got GH2_V11.bin, ptool3.exe, sets.ini, Wine and WineBottler all in the same folder on a Mac. I open WineBottler and it says Install File.../ptool3.exe. If I click Install it runs for a while then stops. I tried opening ptool3.exe while WineBottler was open and navigated to the V11.ben file and it tells me wrong file or it as already been hacked. I need some real Hack Dummy line by line help.
