please help, settings all wrong

Hey guys.

i have a sony alpha a58 and this is my first dslr and i do alot of filming of skateboarding and the seetings for the video like 'avchd' and mp4 is what i dont get.

I was wondering what the best settings are for really sharp videos and good colour reproducuction.

The settings for format is like 50i and something else and like 25p and sopmething else. I need to know the best settings for besty video quality because when i put it on my pc the quality ios very un detailed and it looks horrible.

PLEASE HELP!!!

avchd for best video quility

25p for a film like look - do not shoot 50i as it is interlaced like video cameras - not progressive like film
