Jan Erik Ihle
Hi, I just wondered if I am the only one having problem getting the ginger HDR plugin to work with the newest version of premiere (premiere CC) It works fine on adobe 6, but I can't import RAW in Premiere CC :/
Administrators Andrew Reid Posted June 21, 2013 Administrators Share Posted June 21, 2013 Ginger is still in early stages. I cover it in the book. I am sure Cloud support will come but they have much more to do first. I tried Cloud yesterday and I see it has absolutely zero Cinema DNG support. They removed it altogether! Maybe they'll get it right for version 9 :) jgharding
Jan Erik Ihle
Guess I'll stick to premiere 6 then .. Just alittle annoying as I just installed the cloud on my new laptop.. Most likely I won't be able to downgrade it to 6..
Administrators Andrew Reid Posted June 21, 2013 Administrators Share Posted June 21, 2013 You can run Cloud alongside CS6, it doesn't replace it.
Jan Erik Ihle
I just found out. I figured you couldn't download the older versions of the software once you had updated the creative cloud, but it was "hidden" in the "more information" tab, where you select software... nigelbb
If you want to carry on using Encore for authoring DVDs & Blu-rays then you need to install Premiere Pro CS6 as they have not provided a CC version of Encore. It's a bummer because while you can still create the discs it means that you cannot use dynamic linking with PP CC so need to render out the finished files before importing into Encore.
