Simple "How To" for someone new to anamorphic?

One thing I can never find is a simple, step by step process to using an anamorphic lens on my 5D Mark iii.
Anyone wanna help out on this or must I buy the book? lol

What i did i got my self isco on ebay for 50 big ass lens and experiment it is much fun and pain but mostly fun. There no clear answer

The only way you're really going to learn is through experimentation.

 

But If there is one key- it is to buy a good clamp, and then experiment with different kinds that turn up for sale. All you have to do is just clamp them to your taking lenses and then do some test shoots and decide which ones are worth keeping.

Buy the EOSHD anamorphic guide and save yourself a bunch of time and money.

EOSHD anamorphic guide is just to learn basic it wont save you money because it tell you not to use projection lens but to buy more expensive type 500 3000 dollars. You should start with nice isco projection lens. There are tons of example videos on you tube of almost any projection lens find one on ebay watch video and decide and come here and ask questions and read read read
