Administrators Andrew Reid Posted December 15, 2011 Administrators Share Posted December 15, 2011 I am not sure where it is either. I do know they are keen to call it the SLR Magic 12mm F1.6 now and not Noktor. I'll ask and see where it has got too... It is a great lens. Administrators Andrew Reid Posted December 17, 2011 Administrators Share Posted December 17, 2011 Hey Nick. Got in touch and they are simply struggling to meet demand. They have a list of prior orders to satisfy first, so the lens is not in stock for new orders yet. The situation will improve at some point. Keep an eye on the main blog, when it is back in stock on eBay I'll link to it there.
Nick Dulworth
Keep an eye on the main blog, when it is back in stock on eBay I'll link to it there.
I got a random email from ebay asking for me to pay "Andrew Chen" with paypal for the 12mm. It was strange so I fwded it to "sales (at) noktor (dot) com" and they said "You were on the waiting list and since your first enquiry is in Oct you are in the first batch. If you are no longer interested we will remove you from the list and ask the next in line." Which is true. @Andrew, is thats their legit email? this whole process seems kinda fishy. THanks! Administrators Andrew Reid Posted December 19, 2011 Administrators Share Posted December 19, 2011 Yes it is 100% legit. I know Andrew, he is the guy I contact when I need to talk to SLR Magic. He is in the process of going through all the prior orders right now.
