Madrivermoco
This is a stupid idea But one I can't get rid of BMPCC + 14-42pz + Variable ND + 37mm iphone anamorphic (moondog gen 2 or beast grip) I'm just looking for a nice useable image I can take on the bike with me and not remove my ability to travel This nuts? Iphone adapters just too shitty? PZ taking lens just too dark? (it is stabilized and compact)
SebYT
I've been toying with the idea of using one of these iphone adapters as well to build a super compact anamorphic rig myself. I'm yet to try anything but I've got something that might be of interest to you: a picture of the back of the beastgrip adapter. It'll show you roughly the size of the back element which could be useful.
webrunner5
Plenty of videos on YouTube how to do it. This setup the Moondog just screws onto the lens. The thread size, filter size is the same. I did it myself a few years ago.
