richg101
can you flip the image upside down on the bm pocket to allow 2 sensors to be placed closer together for side by side 3d rigging? tried google but no info it seems
Rob Bannister
I never saw that option on there. I know what you mean like on a gopro but the menu is pretty much the same as the original BMCC. I should be getting my actual copy later this week or next but it would be a good idea to put that through support because the forums over there get pretty clogged up. BTW you are not going into stereo work are you haha. Ive avoided working in it so far.
Bioskop.Inc
Do external monitors have the option to flip the image, that could be your answer as the Pocket screen isn't the biggest or best.
Bioskop.Inc
can you flip the image upside down on the bm pocket to allow 2 sensors to be placed closer together for side by side 3d rigging? tried google but no info it seems Found PixelConduit a few weeks ago & have been meaning to read through the PDF manual. I did that last night & it is, amongst other things, a live streaming program which also deals with 3D imaging. Now i only skimmed the 3D part, but i think it might be a good way of seeing whats going on whilst you are filming - you can also record straight off the camera, so might help? http://pixelconduit.com/
soupkitchen
You wouldn't want to do this for stereo as the rolling shutter will be going in the opposite direction for each eye which will be be really hard to look at.
