ShaunC
I've already posted Alex Proyas' Youtube channel in the Youtube channel thread, but I reckon this latest development deserves its own shout out. Will be very interesting to watch this unfold. It also seems apparent he's going to be talking a lot about cameras, Blackmagic in particular. barefoot_dp
I don't see what's interesting about it? I mean, good on him for chasing his dreams but It's just the same as any of the countless independent studios in every city. From an indie film-making perspective, I think what Jakob Owens is doing with his Film Ranch looks much more interesting - a couple of pre-designed thematic sets housed on single a large property. IronFilm
His last update was "Part 6" from last year: On 9/15/2019 at 4:41 PM, barefoot_dp said: I don't see what's interesting about it? Only a few are showing the behind the scenes though of the process getting up and running (Alex Proyas isn't a total random no name indie director, but has a track record behind him). Kinda wish he'd done more BTS YT videos!
ShaunC
Yes, I agree. A little more BTS stuff would be nice. It started of well but seemed to taper off. Don't mind some of the shorts he's producing, but a glimpse into the process would add to it. tweak
sanveer
I've always felt a Lack of Collaboration has mostly slowed down Indie Film Development. Studios have limitless wealth, and resources. This seems like a nice effort. Hopefully, he allows other people to use his studio space for rights or profits in return.

Administrators Andrew Reid Posted May 21, 2020 Administrators Share Posted May 21, 2020 Great studio concept. Looking forward to seeing what he creates from it.
