GH2 with external monitor (HDMI)

Hello there.

I received my Lilliput HD70 yesterday. When connecting my GH2 via HDMI the focus assist magnified view and the Ex.Tele.Conversion do not work. That`s very annoying.
Is there any workaround?

BTW, i did a 66Mbit/s test last weekend during snowfall:

That snow shot in insanely detailed  ;D

There is a work around with Vitaliy's hack to get ex-tele to output through HDMI. Unfortunately it crashes the internal recording when it does so.

Hopeful future hacks will solve this problem... Agree it is a bit silly.

Yes, i already experienced that crashing. Only removing the batterie gets my GH2 back to life.

Is it possible to embed videos in this forum?

BTW, your 88Mbit Intra Hack, is it comparable to Driftwoods 100Mbit AQ2_V2 hack related to quality?

Though I don't know specifically which lilliput you are using (features etc) the Sony CLM-V55 is one of the most suitable monitors around. It gives focus peaking and 1:1 view (and in video do we really need more than 1:1), runs off battery packs, allows audio monitoring through headphone socket and has the same resolution as most 7" and 8" displays in a 5" which gives greater pixel density and makes the monitor a bit smaller but still a good size. Anyway, not saying get rid of the lilliput, just for anyone else that might be looking.

Unfortunately i didn`t know the Sony. I bought this monitor: http://www.coollcd.com/lilliput-hd70hp-7-oncamera-hd-lcd-field-monitor-w-hdmi-in-component-in-composite-in_p721.html
But with both you can`t get the Ex.Tele working. Hopefully it can be hacked, or Panasonic itself do something.

I needed a cheap one because a CobraCrane is comming on christmas. I´m saving money to buy a SmallHD DP6 next year.
