mojo43
Hello everyone.. a couple of weeks ago the NOMO Films team was in Guatemala to film a fictional short and we wanted to show you how it was being made. We shot BTS for the whole shoot and this is the first episode. I hope you like it and let me know if you have any questions! tomastancredi, kye, EthanAlexander and 3 others 5
Kisaha
Congrats guys! Very important project. How are you going to match all those different cameras? Do you have a specific workflow for that? What filters do you use on your Mavic? mojo43
mojo43
Thenks so much! In terms of matching the cameras, the only difficult part is between the S1 and the Sony cams and we have been tweaking the profiles a little each shoot so we can get closer and closer. Mostly the difference between both images is that the S1 image is much more saturated and sharp so I usually blur it and desaturate and match colour in post. It’s not that bad in the end and I have gotten used to it. Plus the S1 image can be pushed around a lot. As for the mavic filters, I believe we use polar pros, but I’d have to check. kye and Kisaha 1
kye
Great stuff. It's really useful to see how other people work. You're absolutely nailing it with these videos. Well done!! mojo43
mojo43
Thanks Kye, glad to hear you are getting something out of it. You are right, everyone shoots so differently and it's really interesting to see different ways of doing things! I hope more eyes get on this so we can make more. It's so much work haha.... kye
