AaronChicago
I was just considering selling my BMPCC and getting another GH3, but if these specs are true I'm putting in a pre-order for this bad boy.
Nick Hughes
Any guesses as to how much this P2 Micro Card is going to cost? Seems like the GH4 is shaping up to be a truly awesome camera.

(Is there by the way 4k PAL/NTSC ?) It would be very odd if europeans could not do 30P youtube 4k productions.
Julian
Panasonic always has pal/ntsc options.
Vesku
Panasonic always has pal/ntsc options. Do you mean in same camera? No. It has to change! Sony RX10 and Nikon D5300 and Canons can do PAL/NTSC.
Derek Weston
4:2:2 10bit + 4k + 120fps 1080p + other features mentioned + < 2,000 = huge hit if true.
Nikkor
4:2:2 10bit + 4k + 120fps 1080p + other features mentioned + < 2,000 = huge hit if true. That's not going to happen. "- it will be switch-able from 4K and 1080P with various frame rates (can shoot 120fps at 1080P for example)" Lets hope 4K and 120fps are 4:2:2 10bit but I doubt it, maybe with external recorder. Oh btw, it might be sub 2000$ but look at the cards: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/963983-REG/panasonic_aj_p2m064ag_64gb_microp2_fast_memory.html http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/964013-REG/panasonic_aj_p2m032ag_32gb_microp2_memory_card.html
itimjim
I'm almost 100% sure it won't require P2 (UHS-II). Panasonic are unveiling UHS-I Class 3 (U3) SD cards. Still not cheap, but not P2 crazy expensive.

Had seen earlier that it would offer 8 and 10 bit output... only assumed 4:2:2 would be for 10bit

Vesku
Looks like there is nothing new in handling camera. I hope they have at least thought something new with operating system. Please not all the drawbacks and half features like in previous models.
fuzzynormal
Looks to be a great camera and a bigger step forward in the market than what any of the other guys are doing, so let's give Panasonic some welcome accolades. This'll only help keep things evolving in a positive way. Awesome time to be a film maker 'kuz it can be done so well for so cheap; really nothing technologically substantial getting in the way between ideas and fruition.
