Henry Gentles Posted January 4, 2014 Share Posted January 4, 2014 I bought a Cosmicar 25mm 1.8 C mount lens. I'm pretty sure it has a focus problem. The aperture works fine but the lens does not move and does not focus. ie There is no movement in the focal length when I wind in or out. Can I fix this? I am an Audio Engineer and Electronic Tech so I have the tools etc to pull this apart and have a nosy!! Can anyone direct me to a link or tutorial as I've never pulled a Lens apart before? andy lee Posted January 4, 2014 Share Posted January 4, 2014 there is a collar that has grub screws securing it to the innards of the lens are these grub screws secure?? if not it will just rotate and not focus I had this issue on a Cosmicar /Pentax 25mm f1.4 c mount lens , tighten them up and it works ok Gábor Ember 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
