Sure Canon is releasing smaller mirrorless 8k cameras but I am sure they will cost a mint. Plus fuji lenses are tiny making the whole package lighter regardless. Image detail closer to Foveon? Or is it better just to put more megapixels in a conventional Bayer CFA? And when it comes to video I expect X-Trans offers zero benefit, which might be why it won't be in the X-H2. Video Hummus Posted June 8, 2020 Share Posted June 8, 2020 Wikipedia says Fuji claims X-Trans layout eliminates the need for an optical low-pass filter thus enhancing resolution at the cost of processing requirements.
