Anaconda_
Will more festivals follow suit? https://www.sxsw.com/film/2020/amazon-prime-video-presents-the-sxsw-2020-film-festival-collection/ Cannes, perhaps the biggest film festival around has a big problem with streaming services, but I think it's about time they change their mind. Could this be the start? or even the end?
fuzzynormal
I'm part of a film festival that takes place in January. We're already considering having to adapt to a "planB" and go to a streaming fest in 2021. Who knows? Vaccine probably ain't gonna be around by then, so...? alilo nadhim
Jennifer Salke, Head of Amazon Studios, stated, "We're respected to have the option to give a space to the SXSW movie producers to impart their difficult work and enthusiasm to crowds just because. It's been a benefit working together with Janet Pierson and the SXSW group to carry these assorted and rousing movies to watchers around the nation. We are supporters of SXSW and other free film celebrations, and expectation this online film celebration can help give back a portion of that experience, and exhibit specialists and movies that crowds may some way or another not have gotten the opportunity to see."
