AVCHD 30p

Hi Everyone,

Recently, I bought the GH2 Shooter's Guide and I am still a little confused about some important information I am trying to figure out. In the shooter's guide it mentions that 30p is only achievable using MJPEG compression, although under the patch vault section it lists 30p with AVCHD compression. Does this mean I can install this patch and then it will allow a GH2 to shoot AVCHD 1080p30? And more importantly, will it be of equal quality to the 24p setting? Thanks!
