Canon 9th July "Reimagine" event for EOS R5 and R6 unveiling

I think i am getting an r6. If IQ is the same. I dont need 8k raw or 120fps 4k. Or am I missing something.

Newshooter reports max 5 min for 120fps 4k... here 29 min but I doubt seems a mistake.

This is also a mistake "What is the ISO range for 8K RAW?" it mention 1dx start at iso 400 but you can use iso 100 in RAW (disabling log that controls highlight protection RAW)

I really don't see many practical advantages in the R5 over the R6, let's wait for a reliable RS measure at 24p before we make the choice, I think after that many could take R6 route.

Gah i cant figure out which to pre order. I dont really need raw i just want the best 4k60p 4k24p.

probably you will have to wait for a reliable source with RS measure in both cameras at 4k60p and 4k24p, that result will tell you exactly where to go, from paper, looks like it will be the R6 route, but is early to really know.

that's very good, another point for the R5, it will be a hard decision between both cameras depending on the RS measure!

Where exactly? it has zebra but did not see any waveform or histogram while recording but I could have missed

How can anybody go into a paid shoot, knowing they will at random intervals have to wait 10 minutes for the camera to cool in an OFF state, before only being able to record for another 10 minutes?

Don't think it will be exactly Netflix approved with that behaviour.

Problem is that he is not recording so all the canon has histogram but goas away while you record a video. 1Dx III does it would be cool if it finally stays on.... at least this one has zebra

Really? My experience with Canon cameras is limited. Sorry if I spread misinfo, just assumed he was turning it off and on to show it has it.
