sanveer
It's an off-the-rack APS-H sensor, with a AUS$200,000 price tag. Not sure it will offer anything about the 12k Blackmagic Camera.

This is the sensor https://www.gpixel.com/products/area-scan-en/gmax3265-3-2-μm-65-mp-global-shutter-image-sensor/ It's rated at 11 stops dynamic range. Unless it does some dual gain (re-wired) magic, I am not sure how it will push image quality to better than mid range DSLRs/Mirrorless, regardless of bitrates. Super Members BTM_Pix Posted September 14, 2020 Super Members Share Posted September 14, 2020 This announcement appears to have caused a lot of anger in the comments at Newsshooter for some reason. Someone has even played the CineFran card. Thats like the Godwin's Law of discussion about an independent camera development. andrgl

Emanuel
Thanks for the accuracy and your entries, guys, that's what I guessed yesterday when the stereographer (who has worked with Peter Greenaway too) sent me the link (he is aware of this our thread), but my best bet is still the Z Cam for 3D acquisition -- AFAIK the only one from their offer to have 10-Pin LEMO Sync: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1442842-REG/z_cam_e1503_e2_professional_4k_cinematic.html/specs

It's basically 2xE2 syncronized in a single box. It's possible to acquire, but seems to be in the prototype/beta phase. Emanuel
