upcoming SDHC/XC write speed Theory for optimized video compression

Normally when I find cards I tend to search for Class 10 and filter out fastest write speeds by marketing numbers.  However, since most of these technologies are all manufactured within the same sector with brand names just slapped on the card...how does one find out the best cards for DSLR video?

Toshiba just came out with an Exceria series that is supposed to be optimized for intense write compression.  With GH2 hacks write speed theory imo becomes more complicated.  It's so great that there's a hack that allows for more information, but does anybody have insightful opinions for future cards and hopes relating to the hack?  What is the maximum potential and accuracy for the Venus engine?  are stability issues due to the architecture of the GH2 or because of the current limitation of cards?

Just curious what your thoughts are.
