kye
We all know about face-tracking auto-focus (AF). Presumably, face tracking also helps with controlling exposure (AE) because faces are the priority in most shots. I've just worked out that my GH5 has face-tracking AF and AE, but when you turn off AF, it also turns off the face-tracking AE, and then exposes for the whole frame instead of the person, even if the face is clearly in focus and visible. Obviously this is ridiculous as there are lots of situations where you want AE and not AF, but is this a common thing in other cameras? Also, WTF Panasonic....
