QuickHitRecord
If I'm not mistaken this is an article about Tony, who goes by Redstan on this forum: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9244525/Grant-Shapps-reveals-89-year-old-father-fighting-life-Covid-ward.html I really hope he pulls through. Emanuel
Funny, I had no idea that Tony (Redstan) was 89 years old, really. I still have some amount of money I sent to him and he had no stock to deliver the merchandise. I sincerely hope for his recovery and he will overcome it as soon as possible. Ian Edward Weir
I think you are mistaken. First of all his name is not Tony and he is no where near this age from my feeling. I do hope this Tony and others do pull through in this horrific time for all our loved ones. Redstan is the devil, he will never die. Emanuel
That (his clamps) and Tokina diopters he told me he was sold out later on. Before he felt uncomfortable to ship abroad using PayPal. We combined to locally pick up in UK then, although this has so far never occurred.
mercer
Yeah, his name isn't Tony. I bought clamps from him last summer and he went above and beyond to make me happy while giving me some of the most practical and historical information about my Kowa 16D... apparently they were used on crash cams in 80s action films. QuickHitRecord
Ah, my mistake. There was a guy who went by 'Tony' back when this forum began. He knew more about anamorphic lenses than anyone. He turned me on to Redstan/Alan's clamps and I guess I always thought they were the same person. Tony was a great resource to us all. This still might be him; I suspect that it is. And even if it's not, I hope he beats this thing. Wish I could change the topic name but it looks like I can't. Ian Edward Weir
Redstan, Tony and Alan are all the same person. You can add Keyser Söze to the list to. Caleb Genheimer
