divineworld
Hi all I am relatively new to the scene. I am very interested in getting a dSlr to further my capability. But I am lost in the Brand jungle I have the budget to get a 60d or gh2 but still can't decide the one to choose. Whilst I am aware of some of the advantages one or the other have I'm still puzzled by the disadvantages noise, iso, noire etc. Also I am aware that the kit lenses are not fast enough but do lenses with adapters get you going or Donizetti need to invest in fast glass that is more expensive than the camera Bernard Borg Malta, Europe
Administrators Andrew Reid Posted December 23, 2011 Administrators Share Posted December 23, 2011 I use the GH2 mostly, 5D Mk II I am getting back into. The 60D is a bit of a non-entity for me because it is third best. The GH2 doesn't cost any more either. It has better image quality all round, more adaptable to different lenses, and feels better to use. The 5D Mark II is better as a stills camera and for close-up wide angle shots of actors, shallow depth of field at wide angle and I feel colour is better on it than the GH2. But there really is no place for the 60D in my mind!
