Lucian
my B&H kowa + redstan clamp went for $1000 US not that long ago. I'm not sure their is a bubble bursting, there does seem to be a flood of Mollers though. Great lens, i'd snap one up if I wasn't already so invested in other anamorphics. Stuart Hooper
I'm hoping the all-of-a-sudden sell of of SLR Magics is just because the time for early testers to sell is now allowed or something?
Sean Cunningham
Street price for the Tokina doublet still $750? I haven't seen one on ebay in a while.
solo
$750?? naa the prices are between 200-500 dec 2013 $340 http://bit.ly/1kExOLV feb 2014 $480 http://bit.ly/OuzdtI
Sean Cunningham
I guess that one from a little while back didn't sell then. Still, nice upward trend in the two you posted and there haven't been any when I've looked this week.
solo
naaa 200-500 or even less. Right now with a bit of hunting you can find it for less than $100 ;)
Sean Cunningham
Less than $100, no way. That's maybe an isolated sale by the dumbest junky on the planet who's selling his parent's TV and Mom's good silver in another auction. I'd never sell lower than I paid for it as NOS. Lowest I'd sell at would be around $300. If it was to an Iscorama owner I'd let it go for the low-low price of $600 ;P
FilmBrute
Only thing i notice drop in price is the panny ag la 7200. They used to go for 1k+ easy now they go for like $600 or so. that's probably the only lens that has been seriously affected by the slr magic. The dual focus projection lenses go for about the same as they did a few years ago. Don't know about the premium stuff since I don't follow those prices much. Stuff gets flooded randomly on ebay. So one month stuff might be a bit expensive, and another month it might be cheap.

Lucian
I can't tell from the picture, is that an actual 0.4 achromat or just a close up filter? I'm not lookin to buy as I have some already but at a $100 someone should snap it up!
Sean Cunningham
"half the power of a +1" It's the singlet, odds are. The No.5 is usually assumed to be +.5 It's using a stock photo. They had multiple 72mm multi-coated close-up lenses. Looks like someone bought it though. GL with that, lol. If it doesn't explicitly say it's the +.4 the odds are not in your favor it is one. Street price is around $450 last I checked but there were new solutions on the horizon allegedly. How are the SLR magic diopters? Redstan apparently has something in the works too... solo
yep, some real sellers taken 0.4 like 0.5. Even the official website of tokina. And amazon always use stock photos.
