Nikon Z6 II & z-log

Hello all, my name is Eric Espinoza. I am new to Nikon, switching over from Canon and so the system is new to me. I recently purchased a Nikon Z6 II and was curious about z-log so I tried to install log onto my camera however, it would not install. I followed all the directions given in the pdf, very similar to canon c-log that was created by Eoshd and installing that was easy on my canon m50 and 5d mark iii. However, this is not going to smooth. Is it a possibility that the new firmware prevents installation for z-log, maybe my sd card is the problem, etc? If someone can help me, that would be amazing because I do not see this problem with anyone else so far.
