SSD format problem?

Hello,

Sorry if this is a repeated problem but i'm on a deadline and getting concerned about this.

I'm a film student and i'm using the cinema (from my university) for some projects.

I'm on a windows 7 pc and i can't seem to transfer the files from the camera do my computer.

When i connect the ssd or the camera to the pc, i can hear the usb getting plugged in but then nothing shows up.

Do you know if this could be that the ssd is formatted for mac's or if i need to install some driver in my computer?

Again, i know this is a rookie mistake but it's just one of those things that never came up untill i needed to transfer the files.

Thank you for your help.

Francisco

Sounds like the drive may have been formatted for mac. If that is the case the only solution is to transfer on a mac or purchase a driver that allows hfs to be read on a windows machine. One is called macdrive it costs around $50.

You could also try this for free, it claims you can copy the files off the drive just not write to it. Never tried it so I have no idea if it really works or not.
