Melbourne Park
The interview above says that its amazing in 1080P. But ... is the 1080P binless? If so, then either: - Its a cropped version of the sensor, and hence gains depth of field ... - Its 4K compressed (which would slow things down and add heat) Which one is it??? Melbourne Park
OK- 1080 P is cropped, at the APS-C size ... evidently also binnless. I think with the GH-4, you can make 4K video, and outside of the camera, downsize it to 1080P, which improves its quality evidently. So for 1080P, its quicker to do it in the Sony. The quality on both would be very good I think ... but official tests would be best!! I don't know how the Panasonic GH-4 generates its normal straight out of the camera 1080P.
