paulva
I've read all the articles, and the EOS Guide. Would just like to ask the community on my personal situation. I got the kit lens 14-42mm. Then bought the Canon FD 50mm 1.4 I plan to use my camera only for film. I have the money for either the SLR Magic Hyperprime or the Voigtlander 50mm 0.95 I don't want to get both. Which would be a better cinematic lens with more versatility? I ordered the SLR Magic today already, but it won't ship for another month, and Noktor said I would still be able to cancel it within that timeframe. ( was an impulse buy ). Thanks for reading and your suggestion
texcam
50 is a bit narrow if thats all you have for low lite film use IMHO. And you already have the canon 50. I prefer something wider for lower light film use. So I just got the Magic myself. you didnt mean the voigt 25 did you?
paulva
I bought the SLR Magic, said they can't ship it for another month. Currently own the Canon FD 50mm 1.4 and the kit 14-42mm. But wasn't sure if I should cancel the SLR Magic order, and purchase the Voigtlander instead.
paulva
er yeah. I meant the Voigt 25mm not 50mm. oops!
