christianhubbard
only available in 720p. Seriously canon. you want us to buy a 4k camera with us only having seen the results in 720p on vimeo?

shijan
Didnt really notice the aliasing but i wasnt looking for it really hard. also that is still 720p, not 1080
its 1080 there and there is no need to looking hard to see it. also it is very strange black flickering line in the upper left corner
Leang
that's no aliasing on the ceiling. those are aliens going through the air ducts. 7 meters!
christianhubbard
still not sure that everything you pointed to is aliasing.. And no, the file you linked is still 720p. Please check and make sure you don't have scaling turned on by accident.
Axel
I downloaded the file from my cache, it was 640 x 360. Please check where you got the 720p from. And of course you get aliasing. You can't tell if it was in the 4k original, but it is produced by downscaling, where one pixel must represent 3, 4, 5 original pixels with different values. If the patterns overlay, you get moire. Come on, this can't be news to you. I just wonder why so many people seem to believe it's magically going to stop with the introduction of 4k. christianhubbard
But the file is HD on Vimeo ?
shijan
There is a button DOWNLOAD there. The aliasing is more visible in motion, not in still grab.
sandro
He's right, unless that they did something in post that video shows real aliasing! I'm talking about the 1080p file of course
