Wow. Seriously has some mojo.

It definitely does (and I don't know why either!) which is why I won't be budging on my listed price, bcuz while putting it up for sale was just a practical decision for me - I have absolutely no problems keeping it.

What will you be using instead?

Motion JPEG was perhaps under appreciated, but more so Canon's colour science I think peaked with the 1D C. It's actually gone a bit more clinical since.

I still don't miss 500Mbit/s huge files but nowadays it feels a little bit more manageable than it did in 2014!

Somebody should buy 20 1D Cs and take the internals out, put them in their own cinema camera with an E-mount and sell it for $6k each!

Agreed, same with cinema dng finally being manageable just as everyone moved away from it 😂

Cinema DNG still looks and grades better than BRAW and ProRes RAW for me, which look like glorified ProRes 🙂

I’m hoping Prores RAW is close enough, because I’m most likely getting the Z6 PRR upgrade, will shoot Prores RAW HQ and then convert to Cinema Dng, hoping to get a similar level of organic mojo and grading flexibility.
