enny
Hi guys what is your thought on cine lenses which i don't know much about only that they are expensive like canon cine lenses but i am thinking of getting a set of Rokinon Thanks
Lucian
cine lenses are made to be consistent in color, bokeh and look, setup for follow focus, high quality optics and very expensive. I've heard nothing but good things about the rokinons, pretty sure they are one of the only ranges of cinema glass that you can affordably own as oppose to rent. Aussie Ash
Gordan Laing did a comparison between the Samyang 85mm f1.4 and the Nikkor 85mm f1.4G on a full frame body.(Rokinon/Samyang Cine version has same optics) http://www.cameralabs.com/reviews/Samyang_Rokinon_85mm_f1-4_AE/ Considering the Nikon lens is $1500 and Samyang is only $280 it comes up pretty well. enny
thanks guys i am thinking set of Samyang my question is would you use them on pro shoot?
Huuow
That depends on the budget... If it is small, or the money of renting better lenses is more useful somewhere else, let's say you wouldn't have professional make-up then of course why not...
