GH2 OSD Info on External monitor WHILE RECORDING?

Hi All,  This might have been hashed over long ago, but I haven't been able to find a straight answer.

Is it possible to display the on screen info on an external monitor while recording?  I know it was very promising at first that the hdmi out is "clean" while recording, but it would be great to have this info on while shooting as I use an external monitor for extended takes and it's great to have the audio levels, histogram, etc.  As I'm sure most of you know, the osd stays on while in standby mode and then disappears on the external monitor when you hit record.

I thought it was possible to turn the info on or off, but I've found no such setting in the menus.  Input is much appreciated!
