jonpais
Mission accomplished! Got the 25mm and 50mm. They're small for cine lenses, but pretty hefty. Probably a better match with the GH5 than the G85.
jonpais
One button alone on the GH5 is already worth $2,000.00 - ETC, which effectively turns my two Veydras into a set of four. ?
Phil A
Random question: does someone know a vintage 50/55/58mm lens with an f/1.4 aperture that has rendering and color close to the Voigtländer mFT lenses? Somehow can't get myself to buy the 42.5mm f/0.95 yet.

Not exactly vintage but they sometimes pop up used for $400 or even less. kidzrevil and Phil A

mercer
Here are a few more screengrabs from my film. The first one is with the Canon 24-70mm f/4... And the second is with the Canon 35mm f/2... Haha, in the first one, the actor looks like he is shaking his head that I am posting these grabs... lol. The familiar people and places begin to dislodge hauntingly, faint memories of his dead girlfriend but the visions seem real and vengeful. It's kind of a mixture between a classic English ghost story and Japanese horror. Nikkor, kidzrevil and iamoui

Nikkor auto 50mm f1.4 not exactly voigtlander rendering but they have a very unique/warm look and the color looks great on skintones on my panasonic body. TwoScoops
The Zeiss 85mm reminds me a lot of the Voigt 42.5. Not sure if that applies to the 50mm, but probably.
jonpais
The Veydras don't seem to be getting a lot of love here. I hope that changes over the next couple of months as I post more sample footage from these incredibly bargain priced, built like a tank compact cine lenses. Super Members Mattias Burling Posted September 7, 2017 Super Members Share Posted September 7, 2017 Time to decide on a 35mm. (It took me about 1min to decide on the f1.4 over the f2.0. Which I didn't expect. But I will give both a good run for their money before selling one.) mercer

jonpais
My first sample footage from the Veydra 25mm T2.2. My first impression is that this is shaping up to be my favorite 25mm m43 lens. The first clip was shot at ISO 200, T2.8. The second clip was shot at ISO 400, T2.2-2.8. Graded with Leeming LUT. Edit: ETC on.

Dave Maze
Does anyone know if a modified Canon 17-55 IS 2.8 would work in 4k mode on a 1DC? I would imagine a little bit of vignetting but just wondering if it would work.
