Light / Exposure Meter Recomendations?

Can anyone recommend a good cheap light meter? I've seen digital chinese ones on Ebay for $60 is that all I need or are they a waste of money? I haven't got a clue about this stuff? thx!

I'd be interested to see what other's have to say about this as well. But I've been told that the "poor man buys twice", so maybe we should just go get the right the first time.

For inexpensive but totally effective there is the Digisix 2.  It's maybe the cheapest contemporary meter that's professional quality.  Only $159.99 now:

I just got L758 Cine cos I knew it'd work! Bought second hand on ebay

 

I don't always need it, but it can be great. Obscenely complex to use though, the interface borders on retarded
