Administrators Andrew Reid Posted June 18, 2014 Administrators Share Posted June 18, 2014 What shot is Sony and what is Pocket Cinema Camera? Have a guess and let me know in the comments :) RX100 III is a big step forward for video... XAVC, 120fps, EVF and ND. In a compact camera! AaronChicago
If it's ungraded I'm guessing the BMPCC is the second one.

Oliver Daniel
RX100 1st, I can hear the audio interference that plagues the BMPCC. Or is that a trick? ;)

Inazuma
Blackmagic is first I think? The tonal range just looks more organic to me.

Axel
Impressive. What makes the comparison questionable is that you didn't provide information about how the images were treated. Imo it would be more appropriate to say, well, friends, I tried my best to get out the most out of both shots with grading (I did not try, for instance, to match the BMPCC, which needs grading, to the RX100, which you apparently did), and you can have a quick impression how this might look through this vimeo upload. But for your own consideration, you can download this folder, containing short clips in the original codecs ...
