HurtinMinorKey
Maybe this should go in the screening room, but it's not my work so.. http://blog.planet5d.com/incident-on-marmont-ave/ Shot totally on the 5d3. All in all, it kinda sucks. Not because of the cinematography, but because it starts off with 7 minutes of housekeeping.
solomojo
The story was all over the place and audio was over-modulated and distant. Too many glaring errors and common sense mistakes in the telling of the story. 2-way baby monitors so the bad guy can hear things from upstairs? Who was the guy on the bike and why was he there? Owed an acting favor? Don't check the baby in the room when you hear noises? Leave the door open to the backyard next to the baby's room and sew something upstairs? I agree it was much too long as well. No reason for this to be over six minutes long. Listing all the sponsors in the credits before the crew says a lot about the priorities of the production. 5 editors were listed in the credits so it's obvious they had issues with the edit. Maybe a sixth editor was needed?
Administrators Andrew Reid Posted May 16, 2012 Administrators Share Posted May 16, 2012 [quote author=HurtinMinorKey link=topic=729.msg5377#msg5377 date=1337107716]All in all, it kinda sucks. You are spot on with the 7 minutes of housekeeping comment. It was designed to racket up the tension but failed miserably.
