oferlevy
Hi all, After getting some good advice in here I have decided to bite the bullet and buy the BMCC 4K. I have read there are 'good' samples and 'bad' samples of this camera when it comes to sensor performance. Please can anyone let me know how can I check the sensor as soon as I get the camera in order to see whether I got a 'good' one? What should I look for (dead pixels, excessive noise in a specific channel etc.) ? Appreciate any advice. Cheers, Ofer Levy http://www.wildlife-photography-school.com
Bruno
You're probably talking about the fixed pattern noise issue, which is supposed to have been solved in the latest firmware update.
oferlevy
Thanks. I am actually not talking about the FPN which is a known general issue of this camera. I am talking about defects specific to a specific camera and are not a general issue like dead pixels, excessive noise in a specific channel or anything else that I am not even aware of but can be present in a 'bad' sample.
