GH2 Night Sky Time-lapses

Hello! Is it possible to achieve the same type of starry-night time lapses with the GH2 as it is with the 5Dmk2? I've looked on Vimeo and Youtube but I've never seen anything on the same level of quality as those done with the full frame cameras. Just wondering if anyone's done it (and if so some details about the settings and process) or where I might see it. Thanks!
