Caleb Genheimer
Avoid Veil flares by using a longer FOV lens :)
JohnVid
Or dont film cars with bright headlights, so close to the camera, hitting the thing at such an angle was bound to produce more flare than is needed.

JohnVid
Yes but how many of those flares are CG, using John Knolls Plugin or other, the one thing you dont see is the heavy tube vignette, I saw a few flares in transformers, but cant be sure they aint CG either, not so easy to add cg to source with flares so they probably shoot it without and add them later. I assume the flares are not the result of the taking lens.... valid
Cosimo murgolo
I'd sign up but I want confirmation that this works on a Bell & Howell Kowa 8Z. I don't want to have to buy another anamorphic for this to work on. Also more pictures of it on different anamorphics like they claim it'll work on. the answer from anamorphic shop: Thanks for asking. FM Lens work with all anamorphic lens who fits 71mm diameter hole. No Exceptions

Cosimo murgolo
I am going to send the list tomorrow to the anamorphic shop and negotiate if that is possible for the best discount price. I will let you know how it goes, x fingers, ;) I am going to ask them if they can provide a coupon code for the ones who are in the list. If any of you have any suggestions please do not hesitate to let me know. Feel free, you are welcome. thank you. Ok guys, I've just received the first response from anamorphic shop, their are quite busy finalizing their FM at the moment. They said that as promised they will give us the discount, they just need to work out how big it will be. They are going to contact me again this week and let me know more in detail. I will update you all, and of course I will not forget the requests that some of you asked. Cheers, in the meantime if anyone would like to join the discount list are more than welcome. Thanks!!!! Liszon
Heyya, Glad to hear more about this! By the way, the front filter diameter is 105mm. How do you guys plan to put NDs on it? Step down rings, matte box or maybe a Cokin X-Pro holder? I don't remember if the front will rotate actually.

Liszon
That slot is taken by the Speed Booster in my setup :) But for someone else it is perfectly viable.
